I am age 15
Thanks for your interest in doing a trackday with MGs on Track. To drive you will need a full driving licence, so at the moment just your dad is eligible. To go out as a passenger you need to be 16, so depending upon when your birthday is you may not have so long to wait. You are very welcome to attend as a spectator, but some circuits will not allow you in the paddock area until you are 16, but you can watch from the spectator areas. The MGF is a great car to drive on a trackday, I hope that you keep it until you are old enough. :)

Hi Curtis, Welcome to MGs-on-Track, I know you from the MG F register and I met you at Arundel in April. Steve has already answered your question about you being able to go out on track. It is mostly to do with circuit and our insurance that the age limit for passengers is 16. Once you are 16 then you can go out on track but a parent would need to sign the indemnity form that all particpants must sign, to say they are happy for you to be out there. But that wouldn't be a problem as you would be out with your Dad. If you are 16 before the end of the year then we ahve two events fairly local to you. Goodwood on 28th October and Brands Hatch on December 2nd. But even if you are not, if you can get along with your Dad please do, as we can introduce you both to track days as at both these venues you would be allowed in the paddock, just not the pit lanes. Steve, Curtis is the very proud owner of a lovely MG F 75th Anniversary in I think Mulberry :D So yes I think he will get to drive it!
