Oh dear, I can see I'm in the dog house  It was at Castle Combe. Went along and couldn't resist. I am no longer a track virgin. I am impulsive as you probably figured out by now. I just couldn't wait for my training day. First session didn't go well 30 cars at a time and Scoobies, Porsche, Mitzies etc. Second lap got overtaken my a Volkswagen Caddy Van !!! third lap nearly lost it at Tower corner just caught it in time. Far too early on the turn in's which meant low speed out of the bends. Did manage 110mph down the start / finish straight. Second stint much better, tried to relax more and go for smoothness rather than try and keep up. Shouted "leave it late" at every bend and "flat" when comming out. Managed to pass an MG ZR and Nissan micra or something which really pleased my son. There were a brace of awesome MGB's running round at incredible speeds. Lots of club stands and bling to look at. All in all great day. Off to Arundel picnic tomorrow (busy weekend).

Hi Mark,
Nah! you're not in the dog house at all, just pointing out that it helps if say were things are happening. ;)
You have also discovered exactly why MGs-on-Track was started, so that we are all on track with like minded owners :D
Hope to catch up with you tomorrow as I will also be at Arundel Castle for Andy Harris's branch annual gathering. I'll be in my F - reg K6 MGF.

Hi Martin ..If I had known you were going to the Arundel picnic I wouldn't have decided to go to Goodwood Sprint today .. It was a toss up which one to do and as the sun was shining Goodwood won ..
See you around sometime ...Bests from Gary & Dee ...

Hey Ol' Buddy,
Never mind, it is great to hear you are getting about at things though :D
Nice day for either event, I decided to go to Arundel because,
A) I haven't been for about 3 years
B) Good to convoy with local MG's which I haven't done for about 2 years
C) I wanted to see some of the friends I've made in the F register to have good natter.
Really had rather a good day, met Mark and his rather nice Mk2 ZS180 he purchased immediately after riding round Goodwood with me in February.
Strectched the F's legs on the way home, as we don't convoy back and top down motoring all day - Fantastic :)
Look forward to catching up with Dee and you soon.

Sorry Martin, who did you say I had to contact about the reserve list for Castle Combe - was it Dave Pearce?
