I could well do with another gear though as I hurtle down the straight. Hurtle is of course how it feels in the car. However those watching will see plenty of my car as it takes a long time to go past!

30/05/2013 12:10:14 Bijjy [b]bhp[/b] Well I do now know the bhp as I took the car to a carb and tuning specialist locally and his rolling road showed 52.3bhp. Oops, not much then. When he had finished it showed, er, 58 bhp. He said he never sees the official 65bhp quoted so close to 60 is the closest he gets on an unmodified 1275. It's a 43 year old engine with 112,000 on the clock so I guess it's entitled to be performing at less than its best. Good to get the old girl some TLC though.
