Looks like there is growing demand on other forums for another RR "Run wot U brung" session - the most likely date being towards the latter end of January. Location and time are yet to be fixed, but most likely rolling roads are the G-Force RR in Aylesbury, or the Emerald RR in Thetford, Norfolk. Date likely to be arround the 22nd Jan. Who here would be interested? Add your name to this thread, and I'll endevour to keep you all informed as to developments. :)

Yes please!
Who here would be interested? Add your name to this thread, and I'll endevour to keep you all informed as to developments.
Could well be interested to see if there is any improvement since the last one I went to at Emerald. :D Norman

Hi Rob, I would be interested in going to the Aylesbury if it is on a Saturday. Mark

Welcome aboard Treddie :) It looks as though the strength of opinion is towards Emerald in Norfolk. For me, Aylesbury is a lot more convenient, but Emerald has a wealth of experience with MG Rover powerplants that really swings the advantage towards it. I'll get on the blower and get a date pencilled in and will let you all know... Cheers

Update I've now booked Emerald. Amazingly, January is already booked solid, and we're looking at the end of Feb! The date to pencil into your diaries is Saturday 19th Feb, 2005. If this date suits the majority, I'll ensure that the booking is confirmed and set in stone! Please add to this thread if your interested and can/can't make it :) Cheers

Cost Any idea on costs for this?

Typically 25 quid a car Pete - I'll confirm costs etc a little closer to the time when I have a clearer idea on numbers. :)

Rob can I bring my Seven to this? Please, please pretty please....!! :D I know I'm hijacking an MG event but it's got a K series engine so it's not that far off the evolutionary line to an MG(T)F ;) - and besides I'm really curious to see what sort of power & torque figures the standard 1.8K actually puts out in a Caterham (especially before I let the dreaded darkside upgradeitis set in... bwah ha ha ha ha.... :D) I've heard that formally it's meant to be 122BHP but I've been told by a few people supposedly in the know that most of them are a little bit more than that, so I'd love to find out for sure! Caroline, seeing that it is you... no problem! :) The only genuine problem is with cars with 4wd - DW, to my knowledge, doesn't have a 4wd roller system. Put that date the diary - it looks as though there is enough interest in this date for me to ring to confirm and ink that date in :D
The only genuine problem is with cars with 4wd - DW, to my knowledge, doesn't have a 4wd roller system.
Rob, I thought that a deliberate part of DW's move to the new premises was the introduction of a 4WD roller??? I might be dreaming this, but ... Dave

I honestly don't know whether this has been installed yet Dave - but unless Jerry plans on bringing along his 6R4, I doubt that this will be an issue.
