[quote=David1946]When I got up at 5 am to drive to Castle Combe, I found we were under water in Sussex and could not drive out of our road. I live between Bognor and Littlehampton and we were cut off all day.
I wanted to do this event in June as last year it was very wet and I did not feel I had done justice to the track. I thought June would be good. What do i know about the weather!
Let's hope Goodwood is dry.

Hi David,
Really sorry to hear this, hopefully your home is not flooded.
It was very, very wet yesterday, lots of standing water (my ABS has never been so active) and lots of rain runoff forming small rivers across the track by lunch time. Improved slightly after lunch but we never got a dry line.
However, I have to say, the standard of driving and car control shown by all was excellent. For me it was also great to be back on track after a 15 month break, I had a great day, but then again I love the wet :D
Look forward to seeing you at Goodwood, we'll try and get Stu Dickens to one of his sun dances.

Hi Guy's + Gals,
Sorry for the delay in downloading the photo's that I took at Castle Combe, but as I am Computer Illiterate it could take me a while to get through them all ( 140 ish )at my pace of one at a time when the computer decides to do it. Please bear with me, I will get there in the end.;) (could be Xmas.)
Cheers Trevor. :) :)

Hi Trevor and those waiting his excellent pictures,
Trevor you will have to bear with us as we have gallery admin problem when approving photos. It is taking some while for it to process, also at the weekend in doing the approval the system managed to loose 3 of the pictures that had already been uploaded, 1 from Hainse and 2 of your's Trevor. Sorry but I have no way of knowing which of the three pictures it was
Webmaster Tim G is aware we have a problem, but unfortunately he is rather busy over the next three weeks or so, son's wedding and then he and fran off on well deserved break. So it may take us a little while to resolve the problem, however we will do our best approve as many as we can in the meantime.

Hi Martin - Yes, we'll be there all weekend, although for the first time in many years we're planning to just enjoy the show and the racing! Hopefully catch up with you and the rest of the MGoT team for a natter and something liquid :)
