I haven't looked yet but I'm assuming there will be a premier inn / travelodge nearby.
Hi Darren,
Yes there are both about 1/2 mile away from the circuit in the Motorway service area.
The Travel Lodge is not the best I've stayed in, a lot of memebrs use the Premier Inn and that is where I'll be staying on Sunday.
Normally an informal gathering for dinner in the evening as well. Somebody will usually put a post in this forum thread nearer the time about dinner, so keep an eye out for it.
Look forward to seeing you.

That will be three of us in the Premier Inn at the airport so far then. I stayed at the Travelodge at the service area last year and was not too impressed - noisy and a somewhat used feel to the place.:(

I've now confirmed my booking at the premier inn too.
See you in October :)

I haven't booked yet, but will be soon. I'm also looking for accommodation (unfortunately my relatives have moved away from the area), but as I will be bringing the car over on a trailer, parking can be a bit of a problem. Looking at Google streetscene parking a car + trailer at the Premier Inn will be a difficult as I will end up taking up a whole row of parking spaces!!! Where do others with trailers stay?
Cheers
John

Hi John,
People with trailers have used the airport Premier Inn, but because it is the airport very seldom get the cheap rate on it though.

If so add a reply and how many, then I'll book something in the restraunt there.

Dilema. dilema...
Car in at Summit MG - appears the 'rubbing' noise I had at CC was wheel bearings - fingers crossed.
Hadn't booked accomodation as yet, even after advising all that premier in was a 'good deal' at £29...premier inn now £52!!!
where as the 4* Hilton around the corner is only £50
Anyone had experience of the Travel Bodge at EMA?

I have booked at the Premier Inn at East Midlands Airport so count me in for dinner. Hopefully space for the van plus trailer; Chippenham was a pain for parking.
The Travel Lodge at the motorway services is not good; I stayed there last year and it is run down with poor facilites.

Put me in for dinner!
Despite the Hilton offering 4* accomodation at £50!!!!, I have booked the Premier inn... just to have dinner with other like minded individuals :D
Just hope there are no drama's with the car now currently in Summit MGs possesion.................
