Nice - Thanks for posting. Darren is a good instructor - makes it clear what he wants you to do before you get there.

I showed him what a proper MGF goes like ;) I also thought I would 'hassle' the yellow trophy a bit too ! Bit thrown by the lack of cones in the morning:rolleyes:, got abit better by the afternoon.

Yellow session 3 Nice session, getting out from first in the queue! Everyone seemed rather reluctant to line up at first, so I took advantage for the 2nd & 3rd sessions. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3a8pCY2Vit8 I never knew which down-change to third was going to go in and which was going to land me in neutral!
Ask Matt... I showed him what a proper MGF goes like ;)
Indeed you did... here's hoping that experience makes me less of a ham-fisted novice when I try out my brother's supercharged MGF at Croft... ;) As for Silverstone, it was incredible, as expected, and for the first time I had my own camera: Yellow Session 4 Yellow Session 6 Try not to laugh too much at my dubious lines... next time should be better as I'll actually know where I'm going. :D

Who started all this in-car video malarky ?? :D Silverstone with passenger - Metromatt ! Taking note of my Instructor Darren Burke...;) The Ultimate track day video... Your 15 minutes of fame starts here... :p Complete with captions and some voice overs... :) Speakers on for the awesome sound of and MGF exhaust...! Bonus point for spotting the spelling error ! :o http://youtu.be/tHzQ1EN1F_E

MetroMatt
Well, it certainly seems that a lot of people are jumping on the bandwagon recently... (says the bloke who just bought his own camera so that he doesn't have to share his brother's). Love the commentary: 'MetroMatt is very quiet!... Is it my driving??' - Yes, actually. I'm too awestruck to speak. ;) (That, and I was taking notes in my head) And that 4th/5th gear question down that straight is a lot easier for me: I just have to take a guess at the cost of a six-speed gearbox as I start to run out of revs in fifth...
