Excellent !..at last someone else with a video :)
Good work, we'll have to get together next time to film each other (its probably not allowed, but... if we dont say anything ;) )... I have plenty of footage of 'other people' yet NONE of myself from outside the car, still it gives good memory's of the day.

It was my first time round Silverstone (you can probably tell!) Theres alot to take in on a circuit this big, don,t think i managed a whole lap without getting a corner or two wrong but was still enjoying myself out there.:)

Hi guys,
Thanks for posting these, again I enjoyed looking at the circuit.
Michael, nice consistant laps and lines :)
Colin, not too bad I thought, maybe not quite so consistant on lines and it looked very smooth driving, but as you say the GP circuit takes a lot of learning. It is one of teh reasons I personally have never thought the GP circuit is a good one for a first track day.
What fascinated me was your left hand, I couldn't help but watch that on the first video and the fact you sometimes shuffle the wheel. Not something you see often (peoples hand positions) in videos.
Hope you guys get out some more and help Trophy Steve to compile an MGoT video diary :D

I enjoyed the g-meter hanging from your rear view mirror Colin :)
We really should compile some of these clips together with some paddock & pitlane footage into an MGoT publicity video.

I was thinking the same myself !
All the best bits (and not so best bits:o ) of mine are on Youtube - TROPHYsteveCHANNEL - Should you need any footage, your welcome.
I also have them and others on my PC at home.... Sad but True ! , though I dont have the technical knowledge to 'cut and join' bits...

Your more than welcome to any of my footage as well as long as no one gets the impression that my lines are the correct ones!!lol My youtube username is mgxpower13. Not sure having the camera mounted on the headrest is the best place really the camera does shake abit but i couldn,t get it mounted securly enough on the dash.
Forgot to remove the air freshener the first time i took the zs on track at Brands and its sort of become a lucky charm!
Will upload the last session of the day at Silverstone as well and will always be filming every MGOT event i attend.

Hi Paul,
Blimey you've been hiding your light ;)
Great vid's, I like the titles well done, very consistant lines, not surprising really given how long you've been pedalling that F round with us :D
Thanks and keep 'em coming mate.

Some 'revised' footage
Rather a long time after the event, but if you've not caught up with my YouTube efforts recently, try this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrhmT0wQOd0 - it's at double speed, and I had a good chuckle when I ran it at the same time as Jenson Button's quali lap - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L317BIZaSw0
If you can manage a) to run them at the same time in separate windows, and b) synchronise them, you can see where I need to improve - the Becketts complex, where he suddenly gains a massive amount!
