An enjoyable day, despite the wind, buts its always windy there, and it did not rain which was a bonus. Less crowded than in previous years, so no queuing in the pit lane was required and everyone was well behaved with regards to on track etiquette
Its been a while since I've done a trackday.
Had a few niggly problems, firstly an exhaust clamp/bracket decided to come loose and the wiring to the crank sensor decided to play up. Otherwise the car went well.

Thanks for posting Steve.
A man could get lost around there but it's not often that 5th gear is needed on track.
How do you find your oil temperature holds up in the Trophy or have you got a cooler.

Hi Tim,
No, I dont have an oil cooler... though I did limit myself to around 20-25 minute sessions or when the oil gauge started getting near to the middle ! It only got there on two occasions out of about 6 sesions -Being an open pit lane, it is very easy to get carried away, so discipline over enthusiasm is the key !
Getting into Fifth gear meant reaching up to 120 mph on the 1k straight in an MG, However, the 'lightness' of the Lotus and the Caterhams, will exceed that speed and get there quicker...
...Remember to use the countdown markers tho' or this may happen...:o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3jHdlwPvvo
Still, I made the marshall who was just to the right, get out of his seat ;) !!
