Just wondering if in the last year or two if anyone has seen my old race MGB GT on the MGoT trackdays. I used to bring it when not racing; it was blue, black Compomotive wheels. Double white stripes up the body centre, and white corners on the front valance. White, stripped interior. I sold it a few years ago and it would be nice to know if it was still being worked hard on track. I know it has done some hill climbs as I found some photos but that is all. I spent some time re-building it and on the prep and it was a great car. Be nice to know how it is getting on. (PS: this got started as I got some weird banking spam from the PM system off the forum. Funny what prompts a thought...). Anyway - this is the car I mean, taking when I was racing it. Cheers, Tony

Tony, I've not been to that many MGoT days over the last few years but I haven't seen your old car at the days that I've attended. What are you racing now? The green RX7? Joe

Hi Joe, thanks for that - maybe it has been around - I'm hoping it is being used in some way. The Mazda was built and has been developed, I'm with a team now - although I still own the car. So have access to, and suggest/test development parts which are then sold for road/track/race. It's a nicely developed car now with around 500bhp, about 1100kg with fuel and driver on-board, multi-adjustable dampers and ARB's, 360mm brakes, etc. Should be out in Castle Combe GTs this year - I think we are going to rent it out (maybe even on odd trackdays with boost turned down). The team are putting together a few more team RX7's as well as customer cars for track. This is a recent static pic from a few months ago And engine bay: There is some in-car and external footage on youtube of it spitting flames, etc from a few years ago, as well as a lot of my MG racing videos. Just look for mazda13bracing on you tube - that's me and my channel. It was only 300bhp back then (RX7 not MG - can you imagine!) Tony
