Me too!!:D
Had a couple of moments in the morning but held my nerve and came though OK.
Track was coming good just as the day ended.
Look forward to another later in the year.

A great introduction to the world of MGOT. Thanks for the effort that went into getting this to happen. Nice and technical with a slippery track. Lots learned about my car (and others), the track and my driving!

My first time with MGOT as well, really enjoyed it. Think Brands Indy is a great circuit as well.

Just like to add my thanks to the team especially Tim and Martin on the day.
Shame a few people got carried away in the tricky conditions, but I achieved my objective of giving my new MGF Trohpy its first run with only a couple of small things to do before the next time.
In the end,a good day out.

What a brilliant day that was! First time at a proper track day, first time at brands, first time with MGoT, and I have nothing but praise for it all.
Many thanks to everyone who organised the day, and the efforts that went in after the original day was snowed off.
Track etiquette was superb from the mixed 'blue' group, the instruction session was very worthwhile, and i can't wait to have another day out with you all.

Hi All,
(ive had internet problems and still have, when it is sorted I will post the usual 'Video of the Day' at Brands Hatch)
An opener for the Track Day season and a chance to blow out the cobwebs.
Having only just fitted new rear callipers / discs and pads, which got a rude bedding in period, I was a little off the pace that day...which was probably a good thing considering the Track was not at its best. The surface was quite greasy at the start, which is worse (IMO) than heavy rain, and stepping off line was hazardous. I felt for the 'metallic' casualties that day.
Those that were first timers at Brands Hatch who enjoyed the day, would really enjoy the circuit when it's dry and in optimum condition, That said, it was a good day out !
Well done to TIM and Martin the MGOT organisers on the day.

Great pictures Trevor well done :)
I love the shot of Dick Owens telling Roger Davison and Martin Holmes about the size of the one that got away ! ;)
I know I shouldn't say it on here, but as a life long Ford fan as well, I just loved that X-Pack arched Capri............very tasty :D

Steve
Hurry and get the celluloid online - were're missing the footage!!! Especially as we managed to avoid being overtaken by you this time!?! Bed those pads in Steve;) ..
Trevor
Great pics as ever but Martin reckoned it was the one that got away but I reckon Dick was excusing a spin!!:)
It was a very good day and quite challenging requiring full concentration but Brands Indy isn't a track to relax on anyway I feel. It's always busy!
Looking forward to Silverstone

No problem, not sure where the best place to mount the camera was! Have uploaded a few more videos of the day including the last session where the track had dried up abit. Was really impressed with the track etiquette and friendly environment compared to the few all comers trackdays i had done before. Would highly recommend to anyone unsure if trackdays are for them.
Roll on Goodwood!

It was good to meet you at Brands Colin and thank you for this great feedback. It is exactly what we aim to do, so please spread the word amongst your MG owning friends. We look forward to seeing you at Goodwood at the end of the month, you will love it in that 180 :D
