14/12/2010 12:53:15 prb Hopefuly I will get my ZR back soon and I am getting fed up with the Jaguar and TF deciding for themselves which direction they will go in snow and ice. I am investigating winter tyres but the only fitment I can find is a Pirelli in 205/50-16 - I intend buying a set of S/H wheels to use. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations?:confused:

14/12/2010 21:10:51 Steve White Have been trying to find some winter tyres for my ZT for the last 6 weeks (225/45R18 V), and not only have none of the 6 online and 2 local dealers I have contacted so far have any, but none of them could give me any idea when they will be able to get some. I considered equipping the TF instead, and did find some Wintrac extremes in 215/40R16's but couldn't find any in 195/45R16's so had to pass on that idea too. You may be stuck with having to settle for whatever brand/model you can get get your hands on, rather then what you want or have been recommended. Best bet may be to wait till spring/summer, because A) there may be some stock somewhere in the UK by then, and B) prices will be considerably lower.
