Many thanks to Martin Charles and Steve Hill for organising the event at 'a new circuit' for MGOT. I very much liked it, because, as it was pointed out to me by numerous people... I didnt end up in the 'kitty litter' !!!... mainly because there wasn't any  ... My first impresion was, that it was a bit small, having done Brands, Silverstone and Castle Combe... but like Rockingham, it grows on you very quickly (no inuendo's intended);) . being a short track it can be very demanding, as there is always 'something' to do, and another corner looming up very quickly... a great way to learn the handling characteristics of your car. I also took the instructor option, which was the best £10 I spent on Tuesday !! and certainly recomend this to anyone else...just dont know why I left it so long ?? Watch the video (best seen in full screen)........... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yT62Eizjlws

Disappointed my charity didn't benefit from £10 for each spin though

It was described to me by Barry and John, the instructors for the evening, as a great little circuit for learning car control and throttle balance, I can see why now. I also got some feedback from a few people that 20 minute sessions might be a tad a long. I can see why now, I was dizzy just watching that and it was only 8 minutes.

Thanks for the comments chaps ! I have some more footage of the day and will post it on here after the weekend... however, if there is anyone who wants to watch my other Vids, taken at Brands, Silverstone GP and Rockingham, just for a taster into Track days... which includes the 'Highs and Lows' (spins, gravel and some good laps) go to YOUTUBE - TROPHYsteveCHANNEL. Martin...who's that bloke driving MY car ??... So you were taking Photo's ?!... I thought you were a sniper peering over the wall !! :D Whilst I will always give to charity... It begins at home and £10 for instruction was well worth it, I had John as my instructor, who said I was very smooth through the series of bends and showed me the best way through the two big corners... after which he said he thoroughly enjoyed it and wanted to give me some more instruction just for the thrill and at no cost !!! Great Day ;)

Another nice bit of video Steve, that first GT was the C being driven by a first timer, a bit of a handful and for a first timer being driven well I thought. The second GT was B and looking at the ride height it might be a rubber bumper, bumpers removed and looked like it could do with lowering. But I enjoyed watching both those video's, gave me an impresssion of what I missed...............I want to have a go round now :D

I thought I should mention... at around 4min 20sec, the GT in front of me indicated for me to pass... As it was inside the breaking zone, I thought best not to !... I was explaining this to my passenger ( I wasnt talking to myself  ) also the 'creaking noise' is the Camera mount rubbing on the centre by the seat as it does with a passenger on board !..thought I'd just clear that up ;) :D
