I would like to get out on track with other MG's but I'm unsure on the position over the requirement for a current MOT. Is it the case that track only cars are not permitted to join in or that they are allowed subject to scrutineering

We therefore insist that all drivers declare that their vehicle is fit for usage by stating that it is roadworthy and complies with current MOT legislation or has a valid V5C document if less than 3 years old. This is included in the indemnity form that all drivers must sign. If your car complies then you are OK to drive. Steve Hill Secretary MGoT
