08/06/2010 14:52:23 Martin C Hi Mike, My understanding is that there is still work to do and then it has to receive its MSA licence to hold motor sport events. Once this is all confirmed and in place then I think we would look to explore the possibility of getting a day sorted for this year. But it does depend on the committee having the time to organise something at fairly short, not always an easy thing for us to achieve.

But we are looking at a possible extra date later this year at another old favourite we haven't done this year. Martin

30/08/2010 09:16:12 mark Airfields :- Not always a good place as they tend to have (old) concrete runways and concrete chipings. Joined a Seat day at Bruntingthorpe and had to have MG resprayed and a new screen!! :mad:

Wasn't Silverstone an airfield :confused: , the National straight is one of the old runways, but of course resurfaced. On the subject of an extra day this year, we have investigated it, but the options open to us were not viable.
