Interesting, thanks for the link Phil. It's in their interest to stimulate the racing market, getting new people in at the bottom.
So why are they charging £299 for a maximum of 1hr:15min on track. Apart from scrutineering and admin I can't see any additional costs.
Our days are around half that for usually 2hr:20min.

Interesting Phil,
Fair play to JP, another money spinner for MSV.
But not a cheap option, Snetterton £229, but you have to join club MSV to register at £50, you need a National Class B licence, doc's fees and ARDS assessment I don't know but lets guess £300-400. You need 2010 MSA compliant helmet, race suit and gloves £500?, the car needs roll cage, four point harness, battery cut out, fire extinguisher, seat bolted down £500-700?.
That is before you've turned a wheel, but you can see by the entries for the first one at Brands it is probably going to be popular. For the really hard core track day enthusiast I can see the attraction. However it may attract a lot of low budget racers, compared to say the Peter Best Championship, you would get more track time per individual event with less travelling.
