18/05/2010 20:57:27 Strobe Thanks to the organisers for a fantastic evening! This was my fourth track day (3rd in the MGB GT) and was by far the most fun. Silverstone GP was awesome just because it was the Silverstone GP circuit, driving in the wheel tracks of all the greats, but Brands Hatch Indy has been the most fun to drive; Paddock Hill Bend put a huge grin on my face every time :D

18/05/2010 23:08:21 Martin P Fantastic. My first ever track day and I'll have a smile on my face for a week. My brakes are toast but who cares. I'd forgotten what a great bunch of guys MG enthusiasts are. I was enormously impressed with the organisation, the warm welcome, the impeccable track etiquette (Hope I didn't do anything to annoy anyone) and the general camaradarie and good humour surrounding the whole event. Thanks to everyone who took part for a great evening out. P.S Got to love that Old English White RV8.;) Martin

From trackside it doesn't look that daunting, but in car it is Wey-hey! I love it too:D

Oh and maybe a very small amount of welding :o Appologis to everyone for going so slowly, as i had my first time on track in a car i have only driven once before and is completely different to my car (im used to a maestro diesel).

No need to apologise, the whole idea of track days is to have some fun at a pace you are comfortable with :D . The Brands evening was a tricky one, all levels of experience and cars, in the one session. On a normal day with three or four sessions you would be in a first timer/novice - low power cars (although Ralph's 200bhp turbo Rover 400 doesn't quite fit that bit:eek: ) group, so everybody's pace would be more evenly matched. Look forward to seeing again soon.
