Great video Steve very nice driving by all and I liked the overtake on Martin Holmes, all please note Martin's indicator come on to let Steve by, into the hairpin. If anybody needed proof that Rockingham is a true drivers circuit and a challenge here is 8 minutes worth of that. :D
The obscenly quick Metro is Alan Brooke, it is only pushing out something like 190bhp and IIRC he was telling me it is not fully set up yet
Not sure who was hustling that lovely little C2 along, but the lady driving was out for the first time, they usually come in an ex-Japan cup F which is broken, so quite a contrast there and explained why it was going so well. Sorry for giving Tim G heart failure by telling him he had misheard the phone call and that they were actually bringing a race prepared 2CV :p
Also featured Tim "gummy" ;) Woolcott, "former treasurer for my sins" in the Caterham.

Good videos Steve, some interesting lines being taken by people through the infield section! I found that I needed a totally different approach to the succession of left handers before the hairpin, so apologies to anyone who thought i was weaving in their mirrors.
I haven't had a chance to look at my in car video yet, but will put some bits up on line soon.
As Martin says thanks to Chris who runs the rolling road at Lunar racing the Metro is now good for 189BHP! Now i just need to learn to drive it fast.

Did anyone notice what a Gentleman I am / was at 8mins 40sec (ish);)
...and just to show this is a high-ish speed curcuit see the next video,

the camera was angled to show the speedo - please forgive the sometimes 'poor' hand positioning and inapropriate gear selections :o ...this was done purely for technical reasons !!
enjoy...

Nice videos Steve.
Gives a great impression of the day.
Note that I was the first to be a gent and indicate right. Not getting any consent from Ray and having cocked up around Pif-Paf for the second time on the trot, thought I ought to let you have a go.

Indeed you were Tim and then the ZR gave Steve consent, when they were both jumped by Tim with consent. I mentioned Martin's consent because technically that was a no go zone I would have thought, into the breaking area, but a good example of a perfectly safe move when experienced tracksters get together and follow the only overtake with consent rule.:D
