The usual chat in the paddock revolves naturally around cars, corners, and places to stay. Its only when you get to know someone a bit better that you realise that you might share other interests. Mine is diving, in particular underwater photography. Like track days, we came to diving quite late in life but get a great deal of enjoyment from it. We manage a couple of trips a year to blue waters and have just finished a workshop week with a famous pro photog. Certainly learned a lot but the trick is putting it all into practice. Anyway, here's a few of my efforts from the week. Spare time Pretty awsome piccys Tim and Fran and looks a lot warmer than Suffolk at the moment. I don't think I would want to get that close to those sharks - trying to chase you round the track is scary enough for me ! Be good to see some more some time. Might I ask a great favour please - though me my friend Alex Turner (who you have met at Snetterton a couple of times driving my mgb) has booked his TVR S type into Silverstone but in my name. I gathered from Dave that Joe Philip is running the day and as I don't have a contact point for him could you let him know - I would be very grateful - there will be of course a tenner catch up. Many thanks and look froward to seeing you both Roger
