I have a 1972 MGB GT which has been in my family from new (bought by my uncle). For the last 12 years it's been sitting in my garage unloved, so this year I decided to get it prepared for track use, so I would have a good reason to take it out, drive it, and keep it running! My plan was to get it ready for the November or December MGoT days, and give it it's first blast round a track with the standard engine before considering some further tuning work to be done over the winter ready for next season. The car has been with MG Motorsport in Bovingdon, and they called me on Thursday to say it will be ready to be picked up next week, I'm really excited about driving the car again after all this time! Unfortunately I'm now kicking myself for not booking the December track day when I had the chance, as I see now it's fully booked :-( Can you please add me to the reserve list? I see there are 8 people already on it, but is there at least an outside chance of a place being available? Thanks! [/QUOTE]Hi Craig, I'm not sure who you emailed, but please accept apologies on their behalf! The committee member looking after Brands Hatch is Tim Woolcott. I'll make sure that he is aware of your interest, though I think the reserve list is rather long. Having said that, it is often the case that by the time someone cancels many on the reserve list can no longer make it. So, it's always worth adding your name to the end. Also, it's a good idea to give a phone number and some indication of how last minute you can take up a place. I'll email Tim now and copy you in. Regards, Dave
