An Excellent day
I have to agree, many thanks to all the MGOT team, I had a fantastic day yesterday, haven't spun a car so much for some years, is that good or bad ...hee hee. A few mods required before the track day in october as I get drawn deeper towards the Dark side of the force :)

I agree! Another fantastic day!
:D
And great photos too Ralph - I'm glad to see you managed to capture some of the few times I was driving forwards rather than spinning out of control!
:o ;)

From a marshal's point of view it was a great day even in the rain:( . Everybody appeared to be enjoying themselves and thanks to the decent chap in a white B for offering a hot coffee:)
The drag strip appeared to bring out the child in most people of any age and judging from the smiles from ear to ear it should be a compulsory part of any stress therapy;)
Looking forward to seeing many of you using your new skills on a track day soon (not the hand brake turns!):)

Great day at the skid pan
Thanks also from me to the organisers for a great day at North Weald :)
The rain made it extra challenging and saved on tyre wear, which was an extra bonus. Will definitely come to another one, work permitting.
Thanks also to TJ for the tickets to Lydden on Staurday, which was thankfully dry !

Just uploading the last of the photos from this event...
However, there appears to be a problem with zip file uploads (I usually put about a dozen JPEGs into a zip file and upload that). The first file always loads up first time. The second file always takes at least three attempts before they are accepted - I get the 'cannot find server' error.

Hi Ralph, this could be down to a couple of things, the file size and your internet connection.
What's the size of the file you're uploading and what ISP are you using?
You could try halfing the number of images in the zip files and try again, that should work :)

Steve, the files are around 800Kb each. I use a 56k connection at home and the ISP is the beeb.

Thanks from Mr Mercedes Interloper!
Thanks for organising such a great day and letting me come with my non standard MG (the black mercedes)
I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would like to aplogise for not saying goodbye and thanking everyone.
I had got a very speedy and hissy puncture, and had to zip off to the tyre fitters for a repair.
Needless to say you man Mr Woolcott showed me the way, then bought me a doughnut! Thats the kind of service you only dream about.
I was cold and wet, even inside my car, so i cant think how cold the organisers must have got. Still, when i rocked up for an event , they were there smiling away.
Thank you to you all for letting me gatecrash your event. It was the best day i ever had.
