27/10/2009 06:11:36 Richard Wale Absolutely superb - it lived up to, and easily exceeded, every possible expectation that I had of driving Goodwood, having been there many times as a spectator in the early 60's. Many thanks to Barry & Martin on the day for all the oranisation, which from a particpant's point of view was flawless! Coming down Lavant and braking for Woodcote without any real run-off area was a bit daunting at first, but began to get a bit more adventurous as the day went on. Modern big run-off areas are very comforting though! Thanks again - can we sign up for next year yet?

27/10/2009 09:34:51 lolwood Was a great day, and thankfully no major incidents. Couldn't believe it was actually October! Can thoroughly recommend taking an instructor out ealry doors - they push you hard and explain every line, every braking point and every turn in - many of the latter are actually several metres earlier than the cones suggest. Great fun, hard on the car but thankfully the old girl made it home for a well-deserved drink of oil and evian!

01/11/2009 11:36:54 Beaujolais I just want to add my thanks to Barry and Martin for the great day had by all. Once again a great set of photos by Martin. It was also good to catch up with old friends and make new ones. This was my third time at the track but only the first proper drive as my previous two attempts were thwarted by the noise test (exhaust too loud) and last year's monsoon. So to have such a fantastic day with weather and track conditions together with an instructor that made such a difference to my understanding of each corner was worth the wait. Still more to do but next year is already a must do event. I need to sort out the brake judder that I experience at the end of Lavant before Brands next month! See you there. Steve
