As Im rather skint at the moment the only way to make my TF feel faster is to make it lighter has anybody done this to theirs what was removed etc. How did it affect the handling braking accleration etc I have been thinking about removing the passenger seat as it seems to weigh alot but am unsure as to how legal this is and would it be allowed on a track. Any help as to what I can do on barely any money would be great. Many thanks

The cheapest way to go faster on track is to invest in some instruction. :)

How low can you go? Weight wise that is? Dunno, but I am doing this to Project Shed... It's not a daily driver, so no interior, no heater, no... well, the list goes on a bit actually. Will be interesting to see how low I can get the weight before having to spend money on light-weight replacement parts! More here: http://mgf.ultimatemg.com/project_shed/index.htm

On a strict diet of carrots and celery for a couple of months you can loose more weight, more cheaply than any other method. :o Tim

Carrots and celery? You're joking. Pass the chips.
