Well - we're back from another very enjoyable day. It was the first time either of us had driven Castle Combe, and what a very interesting circuit it is too! Heard a lot about the Quarry corner before we arrived and after seeing the fairly short run-off, decided that this circuit demands some serious respect in places! The combine harvester at work in the infield also provided some unusual track-day entertainment!! A great fun day with a good MG turnout - many thanks to the Bristol Pegasus Motor Club and MGCC South West Centre for organising a smooth running day. I'll upload some pics to the gallery as soon as I can. :D
a smooth running day.
What?!!! Roughest track I've ever been on! ;) Great day though. Guess a VVC is quicker after all Jen?

What another fantastic day. Only six cars on the track resulted in some of the most open track I've experienced, and what a track. Loads of flat out exits from corners (with the exception of Quarry  ) although I thought the combine harvester should have been black flagged for constantly cutting across the infield;) Great to chat to some more MG drivers and to be put to shame by the fantastic condition of the older MGs
What?!!! Roughest track I've ever been on!
Officially the track is not rough, it just has a few undulations !!! If it was as flat as a billiard table it wouldn't be as much fun.
