Now whilst I'm very very tempted to sign up right now for this as it's my local track :D I'm just a little worried about how much time we'll actually get and what differences there may be to a normal day. So how much track time are we likely to get? And does the evening run just the same as a full day? Oulton Park has been my only day so far so just want to see how it will shape up :) Thanks

Hi Dan As it says in the event write up "The evening will start with a 15 min session for Club Triumph at 5.30pm followed by a 15mins session for MGoT. At 6pm CT will be back on circuit for 20 mins and we will then alternate between the two clubs for the remainder of the night in 20 mins sessions. This means we will get maximum track time of 1 x 15mins and 3 x 20 mins sessions." Assuming there are no reds you'll get 1hour 15min of track time in a evening event.. Ok not as much as a full day but still enough to make ya face hurt from grinning !!:D I am hoping my car will be all up and running by then as i hope to be there too.. Stu;)
whats the db for this event and is it a static test or fly past?
The MSV 2009 circuit hire regs state 102dB static for Indy circuit evenings.

I am so gutted that I can't make this now :( Is there another evening later in the year or is this the only one?
I am so gutted that I can't make this now :( Is there another evening later in the year or is this the only one?
Our next visit to Brands is on 7th December. If evenings are of particular interest we have a Siverstone GP evening on 4th August.
98db -thats me out then :(
Why's that? Have you had yours measured before then? No doubt running something special then. I was worried about mine last time but flew through at 93dB and that was with a BMC induction, Janspeed exhaust and a decat. From what I have seen recently it is down to certain exhaust systems resonating that causes the high readings.
