Hi, No havnt been to Brands since November, as the Rover has been in the workshop having the enigne cleaned out, an uprated Head Gasket and replacement CV joints. As I intend to do track days once a month or so I thought it would be wise to replace the less reliable parts in the winter. Performance parts will be added as and when my talent increases to require them. 1st outing since the work has been done will be at Bedford mid January.

Welcome MGoT Hi Gareth, Pleased to see you with us, I'm not sure the message gets out enough that we are a club that caters for MG / Rover owners, so welcome along. Look forward to catching up with you somewhere during the coming year, sadly not doing Bedford as it does not tickle my taste buds. Plus only having circa 120bhp to play with, I'd spend too much time with my right indicator on  , getting out the way of those (pesci?) Exiges  Regards, Martin.

Hi, Silverstone is a provisional event at present. But once its confirmed you will be able to simply book through the website being a member. The English seems fine to me, better than most my postings hehe. I think another member will be able to point you in the right direction for preperation on the car. Have you ever done a track day before? If its only basic preperation you need (brakes, oil etc), you should be able to do yourself.

Yes- unless, MGTist is talking about the parade laps at the MG Car Club's Silverstone International 2009 Meeting. These are speed limited convoy laps. I'm not sure if they are running them this year.
