06/10/2008 09:31:31 gavinsmith Thanks to everyone involved in organizing the Donington day and fixing the weather to stay dry. It was my dad's 69th birthday treat and he enjoyed every minute of our time on track and chatting to the other drivers and passengers and checking out their cars between sessions. LOVED the circuit, though barrelling down the Craner curves in the wet could change my mind about that as it was frightening enough in a very light shower! Watching other drivers' lines and speeds was equally enjoyable, especially Roger (Blue T-reg Midget), who seemed to be on the edge of grip for much of the circuit and matched my B for straight line speed as well (must think about that Weber conversion...) Any chance of more days/evenings there next year? Thanks again
