Again another dry day for MGs-on-Track. Excellent day and it was a pleasure to get to ride alongside the guys (and gals) that booked instruction, some very nice cars on display. Again, hope you didn't mind the interlopper in your midst later in the day, in the form of my Lotus Elise, I always like to get a few laps in myself and thanks to Dave for allowing me that privilege. I do try and keep well out of the way until the straights where my the Honda Type-R engine in the back has the horses to get by without disturbing your laps. I was running my onboard video & data-logger and have just posted a video up on YouTube if anyones interested. The Video has data overlay from the data logger givings speeds, g-forces and lap times (trackday legal as only available post-process). It was actually the last session of the day which typically gave me the chance for 3 clear laps. I had a passenger as well in the shape of Darren Rostron's dad who seemed to enjoy the experience. You'll note I did check he was OK before putting in the quickest lap at the end. I was possibly on a quicker lap earlier when I came upon a slick of oil just after Bobbies (I now know it's called Westway), it certainly got my attention with a big slide (caught on camera and to be posted soon). I then dived into the pits to sound the warning. Malcolm Oops, heres the YouTube link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXvKMd6b6WQ

Posted the onboard from when I encountered the oil, doesn't look as spectacular as it felt at the time but it was 87mph so very thankful I manage to deal with it .. not much run-off there!
