What a fantastic day !:D Oh ye of little faith ! I told you my sun dance works ;) Apart from the briefest of spots for 5 minutes to tease us the sun graced us with its attendance once again..So much so I've just looked in the mirror and I have a rather red face :o A big thankyou to all our MGOT drivers who took part and also our good friends of Club Triumph, once again your impecable track etiquette proved that MGOT trackdays really are second to none.. We look forward to seeing you all again soon Stu;)

Photos now in the Gallery Good to see everyone again, it's been a while. Just uploaded over 250 pics to the gallery. There will be a lot of duplication but I think I got everyone this time as I wasn't driving. A bit later than anticipated as I had a bit of trouble on the way home. Throttle pot has packed up and and my throttle was either on full or off. Not too bad on the motorway until I got to the Staines turnoff and then it was stop/start to the Chiswick roundabout in torrential rain. It was also 'entertaining' when I came off the M4.:)

Great day. I've yet to see this sundance Stu, but whatever it is - keep doing it. Thanks to the organisers - nice job once again. And Norman, great pics :) , a very impressive piece of glassware you had there today. Pleased you got home OK.

A Great Day Out Many thanks to the organisers for letting us use this great circuit, it was an excellent day out, at what seemed a very English and slightly quaint venue. I do hope to be back again soon! Special thanks to the 2 guys in the Red Supercharged MGB GT, it was great to follow round a similar car that was driven well.

Everyone who was driving deserves some praise too, the marshals were positively beaming about how few flags they had to wave :) I gained some deep respect for the cornering grip of the MGF Cup car, I used to think my F wasn't too bad but having sat in with Ralph I discovered that understeer simply isn't in the Cup car's vocabulary... ________ Franz-zeno diemer

Another fantastic track day. Keep up the good work, Stu, with your sundance! Having had a long chat with Richard Jones I now know that my car is set up completely wrong. Next time I take it out on track it should handle even better :D:D:D BTW If anyone ever wants a passenger ride in my car just ask!
Having had a long chat with Richard Jones I now know that my car is set up completely wrong.
And since Richard Jones was the driver of the MGF that won the championship your car was contested in, I'd say that's probably valuable advice ;) Incidentally, Richard has that winning car lying idle, and is open to offers on it. Same 160 engine as yours, lightweight panels, D01Js, AVO dampers, 4 nipple jobbed, lots of life in the safety gear & absolutely ready to race... drool... more drool... And as far as I could see no signs of "oh, the dents? As I recall some tyres fell on the car" ;) :D Stu became the latest in a long line of people to ask why Richard, head of MGCC's Competition division, when seen clambering into one of GM's less inspiring 4x4s wasn't instead flying the flag by driving an MG. I can report that despite already having one that is recorded as one of the fastest ever on the racetrack, he was desperate enough to consider taking on my wreck - I think you should lay off, guys  ________ FORD PANTHER PLATFORM PICTURE

Interesting times for sure.. Stu :D
And as far as I could see no signs of "oh, the dents? As I recall some tyres fell on the car" ;) :D
Yes, that was something else that I learnt from Richard! It was obviously a story that has been passed around, as someone else told me the same, fallacious, reason for the dents on the rear wing.

BTW To those people who expressed interest in the black wheels that we have for sale, I have been told by our supplier that we have the last 2 sets. Once these are sold there are no more. If you want to buy one of these sets at the price I quoted on Monday you need to ring me up and pay, otherwise they might get sold.
