It was good to be back on track again after all that has been happening and to see a few familiar and new faces. Thanks for organising it in these difficult times and hope to see some of you at Castle Combe.

Fully agree with Ian! Really good day on track in good weather, so social distancing was achieved. It is a short and technically challenging track, and surprisingly fast, with the brakes working hard. Thanks to Mark and David for organising and managing the day.

Without doubt my best day yet with my trackday ZR. The addition over the winter of a Quaife diff and an uprated engine has made a massive difference to the car. Low numbers on track and everyone who needed to pulling over to let me past allowed me to gain both confidence and speed in the car. Comments about me lifting the inner rear on corners tell me I am cornering quicker. 90 +mph into the back chicane and very hot brakes have also shown me that Im getting quicker. A "thank you" to those who commented positively on my car. I have spent many many hours building it so it is great to get some feedback. It looks like we all got lucky on the weather. I have another evening of madness on an open pitlane event at Donington before I catch up with some of you at Anglesey. To date there are 3 other ZRs on the entry list . That should be interesting!!
