Here is the email I sent today - the event guide is attached to this post. From: David Livingstone Date: 19 March 2009 14:52:36 GMT To: David Livingstone Subject: Silverstone Event Guide - please read carefully and confirm receipt Hello everyone, Attached is the event guide for our Track Day at Silverstone GP circuit this coming Monday, 23rd March. It contains all you need to know about the organisation of the day before you arrive. Please read it carefully and take note of the new terms and conditions being imposed by the circuit. We have amended the sign-on indemnity form to include these. It will be your responsibility to ensure that you comply. PLEASE ARRIVE IN GOOD TIME Sign-on begins at 07:15 and the driver briefing begins at 08:15. Please arrive in good time, as we have nearly 100 drivers to sign on. PRINT OUT THE INDEMNITY AND BRING IT FULLY COMPLETED You can help speed up sign-on considerably and reduce queuing time if you print out the attached MGoT indemnity form (Appendix B) and bring it with you fully completed, Please ask your 2nd drivers and passengers to do the same. DON'T FORGET YOUR ROAD LICENCE Please don't forget your full licence - both the plastic and paper parts if you have the newer type. All cars must be road legal and conform to current MOT standards unless you have agreed otherwise with the MGoT committee in advance. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SESSION ALLOCATION The session list is attached (Appendix A) - please check your session allocation and take note of the timetable. The Red group is predominantly the less experienced drivers and/or slower cars. The Green group is the more experienced drivers and/or faster cars. More weighting is given to experience than the car's power! It is possible that we have the wrong driver experience level for you if you haven't updated your user profile recently. At this stage it is difficult to swap groups around if there are errors, but if you have a real problem in yyour session allocation, then please let me know and I'll see what we can do. PLEASE CHECK YOUR PRE-BOOKED INSTRUCTION OR HELMET HIRE Appendix A also shows the pre-bookings for instruction and helmet hire. Please check that these are correct. There will be no charge if you have had to book a helmet because Silverstone's new terms and conditions prevent you from using your own. ANY QUESTIONS? Please feel free to email me or call me with any questions before the day. However, if you have any issues on the day, please talk to Tim Guy or another member of the MGoT committee, as I am afraid that I cannot attend. Committee members are likely to be wearing an identity necklet and/or MGoT caps with a light coloured brim. I hope you all have a great day. Kind regards, Dave

Just make yourself known to one of the MGoT Committee members. They will ask to sign an idemnity form and give you a passenger briefing. If they can find a helmet for you to wear and a driver with a free seat then you're on your way! Have a great day! :D
