22/01/2009 22:47:59 GForce2010 Hi there. Just thought i'd say hi. I'm G (Fraser) i'm the ZS rep on the ZR/ZS/ZT Register committee of the MGCC. I'm also a Techie on ZS Central. Not been there long so still just working my way around introducing myself to everybody. I've heard good things about MG's On Track from several members who supported at Brands Hatch. And after a read of the site i'm getting very tempted to try my hand at having a go in my ZS 180 sometime. Well that's enough from me...hope to meet most of you at the forthcoming events of 2009. :D

22/01/2009 23:05:06 Dave Hi G, Welcome to MGoT. Why not come along to Silverstone on 23rd March and meet a few people. I'm sure we can get you a few passenger laps as well so you can see what it's all about. It's our biggest track day of the year - 80 MGs and 40 Lotus, so lots to see and plenty of people to chat to. A quick count shows that there are 10 Zs booked in with ZRs, ZSs and ZTs represented.

22/01/2009 23:21:04 Tim Guy Indeed, welcome to MGoT. Zs seem to go very well on track, be good to see a higher proportion of them imo. As Dave says, do come along to Silverstone if you can make it and have a look for yourself. There's at least one more 180 on the reserve list.

23/01/2009 00:31:51 GForce2010 It deff sounds like a good day out so i'll see if i can get the time off work. Couple of passenger laps would be fun...i had a ride in Lunar Racings 180 at the stroke charity event....also had a ride in a MGB V8....now that has scary :D. Do you think it would be possible to hire myself a XL helmet on the day as :Dthe only one i have is my motorcycle one and if i'm right it's a different standard. I must admit i'm very tempted to get a second 180 later in the year and slowly turn it into a track car in my spare time to keep me busy.

23/01/2009 07:23:00 Martin C Hi 'G', Good to have you in with us, I know CJ and AndyF are members the more the merrier :D Although you are correct about bike helmets, many people do use them, as we only have S,M & L bring it along if you come. So if you can make it do come along, you'll have a good day, but be warned being a passenger is never enough and driving is addictive ;) Cheers, Martin
