MGs on Track is about fast and safe track days for drivers who enjoy the thrill of taking their classic sports cars to top UK race circuits. The cars are mostly MG and include later modern classics like the MGF and TF, ZR & ZS, and we also invite other marques to join us (see below).

What’s even more important than the make of car is that our track days attract people who drive fast but at their own pace and who respect other drivers on track. Anyone who has tried general open track days and found them to be practise sessions for race drivers will find MGoT track days a breath of fresh air.

Typically, the cars will include standard road cars or slightly modified cars, most of which are driven to the circuit and are driven around the track in such a way as to be driven home.

MG cars on track are regularly; MGF, TF, ZR and ZS plus several Midgets, MGA, MGB and MGCs.

And we are open to non-MGs including for example - Mazda MX5, Triumph TR3, Lotus Elise, TVR Tuscan, Vauxhall VX220, Renault Alpine. If you want to check that you can participate in a specific car please contact the Event Manager.

Importantly, to enhance our time spent on track we like to socialise the "Night Before" each track day. When booking each event, look out for the local hotel where several of us will be enjoying drinks and dinner.

MGs on Track is a branch of the MG Car Club. We have an elected committee, all of whom are MG enthusiasts who enjoy driving on track.
